Shipping Policy

Below you will find the rules for processing and delivering orders placed at karolshoes.com. Our footwear is handmade in Poland, so the total order timeline includes both production time and the delivery time after dispatch.

Handmade to order

Most KarolShoes pairs are made after the order is placed. Standard production usually takes 3–5 business days after payment confirmation.

Worldwide shipping

We ship internationally to most countries supported by our logistics partners. Available shipping methods are shown at checkout.

Tracking included

After dispatch, the customer receives tracking information when the selected carrier provides tracking for the destination country.

1. Order processing time

Most orders are processed within 3–5 business days from payment confirmation. This period includes the handmade production or preparation of the ordered pair before dispatch.

If a product is already available in stock, it may be shipped faster, usually within 1–2 business days.

For personalized products, special orders, non-standard modifications, high production periods or circumstances outside our control, the processing time may be longer. If this affects your order, we will inform you individually.

Business days mean Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Poland. Orders placed during weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

2. Shipping methods

Orders are shipped from Poland using available courier, postal or international logistics services. The exact carrier and available shipping options may depend on the destination country, parcel type and current logistics availability.

European Union

Orders within the European Union are usually delivered by courier or postal partners operating in the destination country.

Outside the European Union

Orders outside the European Union may require customs clearance and can be delivered by international postal or courier networks.

The available shipping options and final delivery conditions are shown at checkout before the order is placed.

3. Shipping costs

Shipping costs, if applicable, are displayed in the cart or at checkout before the order is confirmed. The final shipping cost may depend on the destination country, selected shipping method, currency, order value and current store configuration.

If the checkout shows free shipping for your destination, this applies to the cost of transport from our dispatch location to the delivery country. It does not automatically include local import duties, customs fees, taxes or administrative charges outside the European Union.

Cash on delivery is not available for international orders. Orders placed through karolshoes.com must be paid in advance using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

4. Estimated delivery time after dispatch

The delivery time must be added to the production and preparation time. Delivery speed depends on the destination country, selected shipping method, carrier operations and customs procedures when applicable.

The above timeframes are estimates and may vary due to destination country, carrier delays, customs procedures, public holidays, local logistics conditions, weather events or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. Tracking number

After dispatch, the customer receives a tracking number if the carrier provides tracking for the selected shipping method and destination country.

The tracking number allows the customer to check the current parcel status directly on the carrier’s website.

Tracking updates may not appear immediately after dispatch. Some carriers activate tracking only after the parcel is scanned at the first sorting facility or after it enters the destination country.

6. Delivery details

The customer is responsible for providing correct and complete delivery details, including full name, street, house or apartment number, postal code, city, country, phone number and e-mail address.

Incomplete or incorrect delivery details may prevent dispatch or cause delivery delays.

If the delivery details are incomplete or unclear, we may contact the customer before dispatch to confirm or complete the missing information.

7. Receiving the parcel

The customer should collect or receive the parcel within the time limit specified by the carrier.

If the parcel is not collected on time or delivery fails because of incorrect address details, absence of the recipient, refusal to accept the parcel or failure to complete local import procedures, the parcel may be returned to the sender.

If an uncollected parcel is returned to us, we will contact the customer to determine the next steps. Re-shipping may require payment of an additional delivery cost if the failed delivery was not caused by the seller or the carrier.

8. Parcel damage in transit

If the parcel is visibly damaged upon delivery, we recommend asking the carrier to prepare a damage report and taking photos of the packaging and the product.

Failure to prepare a carrier damage report does not remove a consumer’s statutory rights, but it may make it more difficult to clarify the case with the carrier.

9. Customs, import duties and taxes outside the European Union

For deliveries outside the European Union, local customs authorities may charge import duties, customs fees, import VAT, local taxes, brokerage fees or other administrative charges.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the checkout clearly states that they are included in the order price. The seller has no control over the amount, timing or decisions of local customs authorities.

Free shipping does not mean that local import charges are covered. Before placing an order outside the European Union, we recommend checking the import rules in the destination country.

10. Countries with limited delivery availability

We ship to most countries supported by our available logistics partners.

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend delivery to a country or region where transport is temporarily unstable, unavailable, restricted by carriers or associated with an increased risk of non-delivery.

In such a case, we will contact the customer and agree on a possible solution, such as changing the delivery address or refunding the payment.

The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer unless mandatory law states otherwise, the product is defective or not as described, or we have agreed otherwise in writing.
