Harry – Black Motorcycle Boots in Crazy Horse Leather

Harry men's leather motorcycle boots are designed for touring, recreational and urban motorcycle riding. They combine a rugged motorcycle-inspired character with a construction suitable for normal use away from the bike as well — during stops, walking, sightseeing and everyday journeys.

Crazy Horse leather with a natural pull-up effect

The approximately 16 cm high upper is made entirely from natural bovine Crazy Horse leather. Its waxed pull-up finish naturally creates tonal variation and lighter marks in areas where the leather bends and flexes.

With regular wear, the leather gradually develops a distinctive patina. Differences in tone and naturally changing surface character are an intentional feature of Crazy Horse leather and make each pair slightly individual.

For motorcycle riding and everyday use

Harry is designed for touring, recreational and urban riding as well as normal use away from the motorcycle. It is particularly suited to riders whose journeys combine time on the bike with stops, walking, sightseeing or everyday activities.

It is not positioned as a heavy, rigid track boot. Its construction combines motorcycle-oriented details with a form that remains practical after getting off the bike.

Leather gear-shift panel

An additional leather panel is positioned at the front of the upper where the boot regularly comes into contact with the motorcycle gear lever. It creates an extra layer of leather between the lever and the main upper while reinforcing the motorcycle character of the design.

Lacing and side zip

Full lacing allows the fit to be adjusted around the instep and midfoot, while the side zip makes the boots easier to put on and remove without fully unlacing them each time.

Metal eyelets, visible stitching and the multi-panel leather construction give Harry its clean but rugged biker silhouette. A leather pull tab at the rear makes the boot easier to hold when putting it on.

TR sole with multidirectional tread

The sole is made from TR thermoplastic rubber and features a pronounced multidirectional tread pattern. The front section is approximately 1.5 cm thick, while the rear section is approximately 3 cm high. The sole is attached to the upper using a cemented construction.

Leather interior and fit

The lining and insole surface are made from natural leather. The model has a standard width, standard instep volume and a standard amount of space in the forefoot.

Harry fits slightly larger than standard sizing, so we recommend measuring your foot carefully and comparing its length with the size chart before ordering. Natural leather may initially feel firmer and gradually adapts with wear.

How to style Harry boots

Black Crazy Horse leather, metal details and the rugged construction work naturally with biker, vintage, rugged, military-inspired and workwear styling. Harry pairs particularly well with jeans, cargo trousers, leather jackets, field jackets, overshirts and heavier outerwear.

Handmade in Poland

Every pair of Harry boots is handmade in our workshop in Poland after the order is placed. Standard production and preparation time before dispatch is 3–5 business days.

Fit & sizing
Sizing Runs slightly large

This model runs slightly larger than standard sizing. Before choosing a size, compare the listed insole length with a pair of shoes that fits you well.

Width Standard fit

This model is made on a standard-width last.

Instep Standard instep volume

This model provides a standard amount of room over the instep.

Toe box Standard toe box

The toe box offers a standard amount of room for the toes.

Natural leather may require a short break-in period

Natural leather may feel slightly firm at first. During the first few days, wear the shoes for shorter periods so the leather can gradually adapt at flex and pressure points. Breaking in will not correct insufficient length or an incorrectly chosen size.

Materials & construction
Upper Full leather upper

Natural cowhide leather

The upper is made entirely from natural cowhide leather. The leather type, surface finish and recommended care profile vary by model.

Leather Crazy Horse leather

Natural bovine grain Crazy Horse leather with a waxed pull-up finish. Its defining characteristics are natural tonal variation and lighter marks that appear as the leather flexes and is worn. The surface has a distinctive, slightly rugged appearance and gradually develops an individual patina.

Lighter marks at flex points, changes in shade, local scuffs and a patina that develops over time are natural characteristics of Crazy Horse leather and its waxed pull-up finish. They are not material defects. The surface evolves with wear, so each pair can gradually develop its own individual appearance.

Lining & insole Leather lining and leather-covered insole

The lining and the top surface of the insole are made from natural pigskin leather. This keeps the foot in direct contact with a natural material and reflects the construction standard of traditionally crafted leather footwear.

Outsole TR sole 1.5/3 cm with multidirectional tread

Black sole made from TR thermoplastic rubber, with a standard profile and pronounced multidirectional tread. The sole measures approximately 1.5 cm at the forefoot and 3 cm at the heel. It is used for lace-up boots and selected motorcycle- and military-inspired styles. The sole is cemented to the upper using technical footwear adhesives after the bonding surfaces have been properly prepared and pressed.

Care
Before first wear

Before first wear, the footwear can be protected with a product suitable for Crazy Horse, waxed or oiled leather. Apply the product to a clean, dry surface according to the manufacturer's instructions. First test it on an inconspicuous area, as even a colourless product may darken the leather or alter the visibility of the characteristic pull-up effect.

Cleaning

Remove dust, sand and dry dirt with a soft brush or a clean, dry cloth. For light soiling, use a well-wrung, slightly damp cloth only on the affected area. Do not soak the entire leather surface or scrub it aggressively.

Regular care

When the leather begins to look dry, apply a small amount of colourless product intended for Crazy Horse, waxed or oiled leather. Apply it in a thin, even layer without over-conditioning. Care may slightly darken the surface and reduce the visibility of lighter marks characteristic of the pull-up effect.

Moisture protection

For protection against everyday moisture, use a product suitable for Crazy Horse, waxed or oiled leather. The treatment helps reduce moisture and dirt absorption but does not make the footwear completely waterproof. Avoid prolonged contact between the leather and water.

After getting wet

Blot away surface moisture with a dry, absorbent cloth. Insert clean paper or shoe trees to help the footwear retain its shape. Let the shoes dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators, fireplaces, hairdryers and direct sunlight. Once fully dry, the leather can be protected again with a suitable product if its condition requires it.

What to avoid

Avoid heavily covering coloured polishes, harsh detergents, large amounts of water and intensive scrubbing. Do not use petrol, solvents, acetone, degreasers or technical chemicals. Excessive amounts of grease, oil or wax can significantly darken the leather and alter the characteristic pull-up effect.

Styling
Biker: jeans, leather jacket and heavier layers

Leather boots with a motorcycle-inspired biker character work especially well with straight or slightly tapered jeans, a leather jacket, a simple T-shirt, chunky knitwear and a heavier coat. Black, charcoal, dark denim and natural leather reinforce the strong silhouette and highlight metal and construction details. The result is a confident, masculine everyday look inspired by classic biker style that also works well in more rugged outfits.

Vintage / rugged: denim, leather and natural fabrics

Leather boots with a vintage and rugged character work especially well with raw denim, straight jeans, cargo trousers, overshirts, field jackets, leather jackets, chunky knitwear and heavier coats. Denim, leather, canvas, wool and heavyweight cotton highlight natural texture, stitching, distressed finishes and distinctive construction details. Black, charcoal, navy, khaki and muted earth tones create a cohesive base for rugged outfits inspired by vintage, workwear and motorcycle aesthetics.

Workwear: denim, overshirt and heavyweight fabrics

Workwear-inspired leather boots pair naturally with straight jeans, heavyweight cotton trousers, cargo trousers, overshirts, work jackets, chunky sweaters and heavier coats. Denim, canvas, natural leather, wool and textured fabrics reinforce the utilitarian aesthetic and highlight visible construction details. Brown, black, khaki, olive and navy create a natural palette for classic workwear and rugged outfits.

Military-inspired: cargo trousers, denim and field jacket

Leather boots and ankle boots inspired by military aesthetics work naturally with cargo trousers, straight jeans, chinos, overshirts and field jackets. Black, brown, khaki, olive and charcoal pair well with denim, canvas, leather and wool. Simple cuts, heavier fabrics and utilitarian details reinforce the rugged, confident silhouette without turning the outfit into full military styling.

FAQ

Najczęściej zadawane pytania o model Hary

What type of motorcycle riding is this model designed for?

This model is designed for touring, recreational and urban motorcycle riding. It combines the functional character of motorcycle footwear with the comfort needed off the bike, making it suitable for longer rides, stops, sightseeing and everyday commuting. It is aimed at riders looking for leather motorcycle boots they can ride in and comfortably walk in afterward, rather than heavy, rigid track boots.

What is the leather gear-shift panel on the front of the boot for?

The additional leather panel is positioned exactly where the boot repeatedly contacts the motorcycle gear lever during shifting. It creates an extra layer of leather between the gear lever and the main upper, so the area exposed to repeated contact is better suited to this type of use. It is a functional detail of the motorcycle-oriented construction that also gives the model a more technical, distinctive look.

Why does this model have both laces and a side zip?

They serve different purposes. The laces let you fine-tune the fit across the instep and midfoot, while the side zip makes the boots quick to put on and take off without fully unlacing them each time. The combination also shapes the look: the lacing, metal eyelets and zip give the boot a stronger, more distinctive silhouette and reinforce its rugged, masculine character. Instead of looking like a plain, smooth ankle boot, the model has greater visual presence and more personality.

How does this style fit?

This style runs slightly large. Before choosing a size, check the insole lengths in the size guide and compare them with the insole length of shoes that fit you well. Do not compare the insole length directly with your foot length, as the insole needs to include the extra room required for a proper fit. If you are between two sizes, the smaller size will usually be the better choice.

Is this style suitable for wide feet?

This style has a standard width, with standard room over the instep and in the forefoot. It is not specifically designed for wide feet. The size guide lists insole lengths and cannot be used to assess the width of the boots. If your feet are noticeably wide, the fit will depend on their individual shape.

Are lighter marks and scuffs on the leather a defect?

No. With Crazy Horse leather, changes in shade, lighter marks at flex points and local scuffs are characteristic of its waxed pull-up finish. They are not material defects, but part of the leather’s natural appearance.

How should Crazy Horse leather be cared for?

Dust and dry dirt are best removed with a soft brush or cloth. For light marks, use a well-wrung, slightly damp cloth on the affected area. For periodic care, use products intended for Crazy Horse, oiled or waxed leather. Always test the product first on a less visible area.

Is Crazy Horse leather waterproof?

No. Crazy Horse leather is not fully waterproof. Proper impregnation can reduce the absorption of moisture and dirt, but it does not make the footwear waterproof. Avoid prolonged soaking and never dry the boots directly next to a radiator or other heat source.

Is the inside of the boots made from natural leather?

Yes. The lining and the surface of the insole are made from natural leather, in accordance with this model’s material specification.

Are the boots handcrafted in Poland?

Yes. Every pair is handcrafted in our workshop in Poland using traditional shoemaking methods.

How long does it take to prepare the shoes for dispatch?

Each pair is handcrafted after the order is placed. Standard production and preparation time before dispatch is 3–5 business days. This does not include the carrier’s delivery time.
