When choosing your size, focus primarily on the insole length, not only on the size you usually wear. KarolShoes footwear has a slightly generous fit, so we recommend comparing your foot measurement with the size chart below before ordering.

How to choose the right size:
1. Measure your foot from the heel to the longest toe.
2. Compare the result with the insole length in the table.
3. If you are between two sizes, or if you have a wider foot or higher instep, choosing the larger size is usually the safer option.

Leather & Craftsmanship

KarolShoes footwear is made from natural cowhide leather, carefully selected to match the character, construction and finish of each model. Depending on the design, we use different types of leather, including Crazy Horse, Kabir, Crust, nubuck and full-grain leather.

The upper, lining and insole are made from natural leather. Each pair is handcrafted in our workshop — from leather cutting and stitching to final finishing and quality control.

Natural leather is not a perfectly uniform material. Small differences in shade, texture, distressed effects or hand-applied colouring are part of its character and the result of manual craftsmanship — not a product defect.

Each pair of KarolShoes is handmade, which is why the standard order processing time is 3 to 5 business days, depending on size availability.

We ship worldwide with trusted courier partners. As soon as your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number by email. Delivery times may vary by destination and customs processing.

Returns & Exchanges

You may return or exchange your order within 30 days of receiving your parcel. The shoes must be clean, unworn, unused, and returned in their original packaging.

Return: once we receive and inspect the returned product, your refund will be processed in accordance with applicable regulations.
Size or model exchange: exchanges are processed after we receive and verify the returned pair.
Return shipping cost: paid by the customer. We do not accept cash-on-delivery parcels.
Personalized products: custom or personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Natural Leather Care

Care & Use of Leather Footwear

KarolShoes footwear is made with natural leather uppers, leather lining and leather insoles, so it requires simple, regular care and proper everyday use. Natural leather works over time, develops character and patina, but it should not be heavily soaked, dried near heat sources or cleaned with aggressive chemicals.

Basic leather care rules

After use, remove dust, mud and moisture with a soft brush or dry cloth.
Do not wash leather footwear under running water and do not put it in a washing machine.
Protect the footwear with a product designed for natural leather.
For matte, distressed, rubbed or hand-finished leathers, avoid polishes and waxes that may change the color or shine of the leather.
Always test any care product on a small hidden area first.

Drying and storage

If the footwear gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature.
Do not place leather footwear near a radiator, fireplace, heater or in direct strong sunlight.
Use shoe trees or paper inside the shoes to help the leather keep its shape.
After a full day of wear, let the footwear air out before storing it.

Correctly removing leather shoes

Before removing the footwear, loosen the laces or open the zipper fully.
Do not remove one shoe by stepping on the heel with the other shoe.
Do not pull the upper by force and do not twist the foot out aggressively.
Repeatedly stepping on the back of the shoe may damage the upper, heel counter, stitching or the connection between the upper and the sole.

What to avoid

Fuel, solvents, degreasers, oils and workshop chemicals.
Strong rubbing after contact with water, fuel or dirt.
Aggressive detergents, hard brushes and random universal cleaning products.
Storing damp footwear for a long time in a box or closed cabinet.

Natural creases, patina, small scuffs and subtle shade changes are normal features of natural leather, especially with leather types such as Crazy Horse, Kabir and Crust.

Chad – Black Leather Motorcycle Boots with Rear Lacing

Chad men's leather motorcycle boots have a distinctive, military-inspired look. Black Crazy Horse leather, extra lacing at the back of the shaft and a leather buckle strap give them a bold silhouette that also works well with everyday denim and a leather jacket.

Genuine Crazy Horse Leather

The upper is made entirely from genuine cowhide, with a shaft approximately 16 cm high. Smoother leather at the front is paired with more pronounced texture around the upper shaft. The boots remain black throughout, while the different textures catch the light in their own way.

Crazy Horse leather has a waxed pull-up finish. Flexing and wear may bring out lighter marks and subtle changes in tone, with a patina developing over time. The extent of these changes depends on the individual piece of leather, how the boots are worn and how they are cared for.

Front Lacing and Side Zips

The front lacing lets you adjust the fit over the instep and around the midfoot. Side zips open up the shaft, making the boots easier to put on and take off.

An exposed metal zip sits on the outer side, with a black zip on the inner side. Metal eyelets, upper lacing hardware and visible stitching highlight the boots' construction.

Extra Lacing at the Back

One of Chad's signature details is the lacing running up the back of the shaft. Its main role is decorative: it breaks up the leather surface and gives the boots a distinctive look from behind.

Wear them with straight-leg or slightly tapered trousers to show off this detail.

Leather Heel Strap with Metal Buckle

A leather strap wraps around the back of the boot, accentuating the heel. The buckle and warm-toned metal hardware contrast with the black leather and reinforce the motorcycle styling.

The strap is primarily decorative. Together with the rear lacing, it creates a distinctive detail visible from the side and back.

Leather Gear-Shift Panel and Cap-Toe Detail

An additional leather panel sits where the front of the upper meets the gear lever, adding another layer of leather between the lever and the main upper.

A cap-toe seam defines the toe area, drawing on the construction of classic leather lace-up boots.

TR Sole with a Defined Tread

The sole is made from TR thermoplastic rubber and has a multidirectional tread. It is approximately 1.5 cm thick at the front and 3 cm high at the rear. The sole is bonded to the upper using cemented construction.

Leather Interior and Fit

The lining and insole surface are made from genuine leather. Chad has a standard width, standard room over the instep and standard space in the toe area.

This model runs slightly large, so do not rely solely on your usual shoe size. Check the insole lengths in the size guide and compare them with those of shoes that fit you well. If you are between two sizes, the smaller size will usually be the better choice.

The leather may need a short break-in period, but this cannot compensate for choosing the wrong size.

How to Style Chad Boots

Chad works well with biker, military-inspired and workwear looks. Pair them with black or charcoal jeans, dark denim or cargo trousers, plus a leather jacket, overshirt or field jacket.

Simple cuts and heavier fabrics let the lacing, buckle and leather texture stand out without overloading the outfit with accessories.
