Elegant Black – men's leather boots with military-inspired construction and refined finishing
Elegant is a pair of men's black leather ankle boots combining a
higher shaft of approximately 16 cm, traditional lacing and a side zip
with the more refined look of hand-finished leather.
The construction takes inspiration from classic military and service boots,
while the polished black surface and stitched toe cap give the model
a cleaner, more sophisticated appearance.
This balance makes Elegant easy to wear across different styles.
It works naturally with rugged and military-inspired outfits,
but is equally at home in urban and smart-casual combinations.
Hand-finished Crust leather
The upper is made entirely from
natural cowhide Crust leather.
The colour and surface are finished by hand:
the leather is dyed, built up in layers, brushed and polished
to create greater depth and a more individual appearance.
Small differences in shade, tonal transitions and surface character
are a natural result of this finishing process rather than a defect.
Each pair may therefore vary slightly in appearance.
Leather that develops character over time
Natural leather can gradually develop a patina with wear.
Areas exposed to flexing and friction may subtly change in tone,
allowing the boots to gain a more individual appearance over time.
Because the Crust leather is hand-finished,
care products should be used sparingly and first tested
on an inconspicuous area, as they may affect the colour or level of shine.
Lacing and side zip – two different functions
Elegant combines full lacing with a practical side zip.
The laces allow the fit to be adjusted around the instep and midfoot,
while the zipper makes the boots quicker to put on and take off
without fully unlacing the shaft each time.
The combination also shapes the appearance of the model.
Lacing, metal eyelets and the side zip create a stronger,
more distinctive silhouette and reinforce the boot's masculine character.
TR sole with multidirectional tread
The model uses a black sole made from
TR thermoplastic rubber
with a pronounced multidirectional tread.
The sole is approximately 1.5 cm thick at the front
and around 3 cm high at the rear.
It is bonded to the upper.
From military style to smart casual
Elegant pairs well with
straight jeans, chinos, tailored trousers, cargo trousers,
shirts, knitwear, overshirts, blazers, field jackets and wool coats.
With denim and a field jacket, its military-inspired construction comes forward.
With chinos, a roll-neck, blazer or coat,
the same boot takes on a cleaner, more refined smart-casual character.
It is not a traditional dress shoe, but it works very well
in polished everyday outfits.
Leather interior and regular fit
The lining and insole surface are made from natural leather.
The model is built on a standard-width last
with regular room through the instep and toe area.
Elegant runs slightly larger than standard.
Before choosing a size, we recommend comparing the listed insole length
with a well-fitting pair of shoes.
The natural leather may initially feel slightly firm
and gradually adapt at areas of flex and pressure.
Handmade in Poland
Every pair of Elegant boots is handcrafted in our workshop in Poland
using traditional shoemaking methods.
The boots are made after the order is placed,
with a standard production and preparation time of
3–5 business days before dispatch.
